Reps Theatre is Harares busiest and most important centre of theatrical and entertainment activity.

It was opened in 1960 and is operated by The Repertory Players - one of Africas most progressive and successful amateur dramatic societies.

Costume Hire:
The Reps Theatre Wardrobe has hectares of costumes for every occasion and all available for hire for parties, theatre productions, dress-up events and whatever else people need them for!

Theatre Hire
Theatre and Rehearsal Spaces are available for hire
The following theatre and rehearsal spaces are available for hire. Contact Reps for prices.

NB: An extra charge will be levied if the bar is required

Spotlight Commission
A commission will be charged by the Spotlight. Contact the Reps office for details

Reps is always in need of support from the community to ensure the ongoing success of the venue and of its productions. If anyone would like to know more about sponsorships and donations, whether generally for Reps or specifically for shows on stage, or would like to know about advertising opportunities in programmes and on the bar screens in the members' bar, please contact

Mon-Fri: 9 am - 4 pm.
Sat: 9 am - 12 noon.
Sunday - occasional opening when there are big shows running or about to run, 9am to 12 noon and ONE HOUR BEFORE CURTAIN UP.
